Why volunteer?
Generations of children have grown up on London’s adventure playgrounds. Each site supports hundreds, sometimes thousands, of London’s most disadvantaged children and young people. Adventure playgrounds are an essential childcare resource for low-income families, and they have been the source of countless amazing childhood memories for children growing up in the capital.
Most adventure playgrounds have been serving their communities for over 50 years. As a result, many of them need repairs to maintain a safe standard; play safety inspectors regularly condemn old play equipment, resulting in the closure of playgrounds until repairs can be made. Corporate volunteer groups help us keep adventure playgrounds open by making crucial repairs.

Social Impact

reduce inequality in some of London’s most deprived communities
improve children’s physical health and mental well-being
increase low-income families’ access to free, quality childcare
Sunday Family Volunteer Sessions
These opportunities allow employees and their families to unite and contribute to community initiatives. Activities cater to various challenge levels, allowing families to participate together, fostering unity and shared purpose. Games and activities with a playful approach are available for the young ones, facilitated by a Playworker. It’s not just community service and fun; it’s about creating memories, strengthening family bonds, and instilling a commitment to social responsibility. Join us and make Sundays meaningful for your family and the community.
